Options: We offer many destinations when it comes to trolling, but our foremost concern is finding the fish. Typically we target Salmon & Brook Trout on several western mountain lakes, but we also will troll for large Brown Trout in the Belgrade Lakes chain. Early morning, or evening fly fishing trips via canoe are also available on a variety of tiny trout ponds across the state. If there is a lake/pond that you're interested in fishing, don't be afraid to run it by us. We are very flexible and will be more than honest regarding how well we may know a body of water.
Our Boats: When trolling or fishing larger bodies of water, we use an 18.5 ft. Lund Adventure Series with a 90 h.p V4 Evinrude and a 9.9 h.p Evinrude trolling motor. The boat is equipped with two Cannon downriggers, a sophisticated Lowrance fish/depth finder, rod lockers, and a fully enclosed canopy top. If the weather turns cold and rainy, the top goes up and we crank on our portable propane heater that is equipped with a low oxygen shutoff sensor to ensure your total safety. This is fishing comfort at its greatest, and its merely icing on the cake when you find yourself in a Salmon or Brook Trout blitz.
When fishing smaller ponds, we are equipped with a 15ft. Aluminum Smokercraft w/ an 8h.p Johnson outboard and a portable Eagle fishfinder. Smaller Ponds w/ no landings demand the use of our 16ft. square stern canoe w/ 2h.p Evinrude outboard. Whatever the body of water, we are fully equipped.
